29 minutes | December 7, 2019 Citizen44 with Mark Arinsberg Episode#80 / Margaret Arinsberg
On November 30, 2019 my dear, sweet Mother, Margaret (Maggie, Micki) Ruth Arinsberg (Waxman) passed away at the age of eighty from cancer. Citizen44 with mark Arinsberg, Episode#80 is a Tribute to my good-hearted Mother who was on the podcast more than anyone except maybe Rich Rees. I hope you enjoy this special episode as much as I enjoyed the pain and pleasure of creating it. Mom (and Dad) and I had a lot of laughs when she/they participated in the making of my podcast and it was a fantastic way for us to stay connected and have a whole lot of fun together that added immense value to our relationships in really fantastic and unexpected ways. I'm so happy we will always be able to listen to the sound of my Mother's voice and laughter whenever we want. The one thing I can specifically point to that I am so grateful for more than anything is my mother's commitment to not breed fear into my by holding me back from anything. Her mother did not want her to swim in the ocean or ride horses due to debilitating fears that stifled my mother in many ways. Forced to grow up this way, she decided to do the opposite with me which I attribute my fearlessness to. Thank you so much mom for this most important gift that still serves me and always will in miraculous ways that keep my life exciting and always an open opportunity to to something amazing. I love you to the moon and stars and back.
Love your oldest son, Mark
